Our findings @NatureCellBio suggest a role for lncRNA-protein condensates in transcriptional regulation. We show that a lncRNA promotes the nucleation of bromodomain protein condensates on active chromatin and control their transcriptional activity. https://t.co/qEISd28V8n

New preprint! How do you insert large genes efficiently + programmatically? CRISPR-based methods are programmable, integrases are efficient. Why not combine them? PASTE places short (~45bp) integrase landing sites that serve as beacons for insertion (up to 36kb)! @omarabudayyeh

Any suggestions for a high-yield T7 IVT kit that makes 5'-capped, 3'-poylA tailed mRNA with modified nucleotides (e.g. 5mCTP, ψUTP) to avoid cell immune response?

I wonder what type of biases and discriminations this algorithm is going to reinforce. Also, reminds me of this good book on a related topic:

Our pre-print is alive! We showed that KSHV-encoded polyadenylated nuclear (PAN) lncRNA is m6A modified by using 2nd and 3rd gen seq, identified frequency of m6A by a new method - SLAP, its structural impact, and related methylome

Sharing your successes with friends can build trust. I wonder if sharing "only successes" and not "failures" could ruin the trust, or build anxiety in others.
We sometimes hide our successes to protect our friends and colleagues, but it actually hurts our relationships. New research: concealing achievements is an insult. When we share our successes, people are more likely to trust us and celebrate with us— and less likely to envy us.
