The moment AI "clicked" for me: I realized it wasnโ€™t about finishing the work faster, it was about finishing less exhausted. Lower cognitive burden quietly multiplies output.

I got to say probably the coolest @cursor_ai feature is parallel agents; they've made it deceptively simple with the UI ๐Ÿ‘

Use Git worktrees to parallelize agents, or run a single prompt across multiple models.

I still adjust to a custom font, size and line-height though (i mean... i'm not barbaric like that)

Never knew the day would come but i now use the default color theme everywhere - Ghostty, Zed, even even Intellij/Android Studio (๐Ÿซจ) - default color theme everywhere. The current times have shifted some bit in my brain where i've become completely tool agnostic.

Should Design die at the sword of Data? I jotted down some thoughts on designing with data and designing without it. Data is a story of the past. How do we write the story of the future? https://t.co/u2Mxn8xGYW

Hereโ€™s something I have started to notice in well-meaning but very large companies. When you operate at a large scale. Innovation is slow. Not because you donโ€™t have talented people or โ€ฆ

oh boy... i think i'm a full on convert to @zeddotdev now. even if you're not on the AI coding bandwagon, you should check it out. the speed is just ๐Ÿคฏ the only other IDE i've enjoyed using this much was Jetbrains.

Here's my take on @AnthropicAI new Claude feature - Skills and the interesting bits around progressive disclosure + just-in-time context injection https://t.co/jxzMfnKmn3
kau.sh
Skills, the new feature by Claude, isnโ€™t revolutionary, but itโ€™s an intuitive take on providing a first-class primitive for just-in-time context injection.

Anthropic announced Claude Skills and my first reaction was: โ€œSo what?โ€ We already have AGENTSโ‹…md, slash commands, nested instructions, even MCPs. The interesting bit isnโ€™t what Skills does, itโ€™s how it does it.

i personally use Hugo and a heavily customized personal theme. https://t.co/7V4u0AEWxr i use cloudflare to serve the actual html and yes if cloudflare has an outage, I might run into the same problem today, but I could easily switch to serving it with GitHub or something. else

this AWS outage is an excellent opportunity to remind dev bloggers out there - you don't need to use a service like Medium. it's extremely easy to use a static site generator and have your html served directly: Ghost, Hugo, Gatsby, Jekyll - there's plenty of options.

Amp Free by @Sourcegraph is kind of fascinating. it started as a joke but once we collectively realize the (currently*) untenable costs of true agentic coding, this approach is going to look really appealing for those who cannot pay per. license fees https://t.co/hNmcY8XOb4
