Caffeine late in the day is one of the worst things you can do for your sleep A controlled sleep lab study gave people 400 mg of caffeine at 0, 3, or 6 hours before bed: all timings disrupted sleep Even the 6 hour dose cut total sleep time by ~70 minutes!
