Going to sound absurd but going to Europe is cheaper (and more fun, though snow isn’t as good). Lift tickets are $65-$75 a day, lockers are like $2, rentals are cheaper, and on mountain food is about the same $$ but it’s a wonderful 3 course meal not a pizza and chili.
