Funding support for Canadian graduate students hasn’t increased in DECADES - my mother made the SAME AMOUNT I do now during her PhD here 25 YEARS AGO. My rent is $1500/month, hers was $400. Universities would crumble without the labour of grad students. We deserve a living wage.
