I’m so grateful to the @mattfellowship, the leadership team at @voyagerspace_, and my electrical engineering mentors at @ZINTechnologies for this experience. Can’t wait to see what next week has in store!

3) Listen to onboard operations on the @ISS_CASIS / @ISS_Research at the Glenn ISS Payload Operations Center.

2) Support a tour for representatives from all across @NASA from the Academy of Program/Project and Engineering Leadership @NASA_APPEL visiting the Glenn ISS Payload Operations Center.

Mid-week I visited the NASA Glenn Research Center @NASAglenn where I got to: 1) Watch the first crewed launch of @BoeingSpace Starliner with my peers conducting internships at NASA Glenn this summer.

Growing up I idolized the Space Shuttle and dreamed of flying on a spaceplane. I’m beyond blown away to have the opportunity to work on America’s next generation of spaceplanes.

We hit the ground running on day one conducting acceptance testing on the Low Voltage Power Distribution Unit for the @SierraSpaceCo Dream Chaser Tenacity.

This past week I started my first @voyagerspace_ engineering internship rotation at @ZINTechnologies - it’s been an incredible few days!!!

Is it an abuse of power that my 1st day intro presentation for the undergrad tutorial I’m teaching included the following: “This slide has nothing to do with the course but I just feel like my cats deserve to be told they’re very good boys” The slide/pics in question:

If you can’t get ahold of a current or recent grad student for a 1-on-1 chat, that’s definitely a red flag!!

Since so many have asked, here’s my hot take on the spherules Loeb found and the manuscript he’s loudly rushed to the world. These are pretty typical cosmic spherules. Had he done the *obvious*--a control sample 100 km away from the meteor--he’d have found the same thing. 1/20

This reminds me a lot of how 50% (yes, 50%!) of American men believe that they could land a commercial airplane with no training or instruction 🙃
