I've been trying out @meetgranola recently and I'm convinced it's one of the best AI products out there. ◆ Easy integration (no meeting bots) ◆ AI-enhanced summaries that almost feels like magic ◆ Chat with your notes A must-have if you take a lot of meetings.

Joining @jayclouse’s The Lab community has been transformative in my creator career. Excited for the friends I’ve gotten to make and building relationships for the future!
Just one of many photos of Labmates from @ConvertKit’s Craft + Commerce. I think they convinced me to host an IRL meetup for the whole crew.

Every minute you spend getting better at writing for social media you're getting worse at the kind of writing that lasts.

On my way to Craft + Commerce. Irrationally excited to meet some of the mentors and friends I’ve only met online. For the first time going to a conference like this, I have friends! Thanks to @jayclouse for creating The Lab where I’ve met so many people.

What does it mean to be a full-time creator? I never know how to answer this question. My business sustains me full-time, but it’s largely services. Only 15% comes from cohort-based course, and I don’t yet monetize my newsletter or YouTube yet. So what counts?

Step 1: Send spicier than normal newsletter Step 2: Obsessively check unsubscribes Step 3: remember that you get unsubscribes even from your most milquetoast newsletters Step 4: And realize your book is 🌶️. They’ll unsubscribe now or later

“I read your newsletter yesterday. And I am not kidding, but I had a moment where I felt, this is the kind of newsletter I'd like to write. It had soul on it. Nope, not flattering. :)” Did you know I have a newsletter? https://t.co/8THNWyJIGI

Today’s learning: Pricing Creativity videos by Blair Enns. I don’t work (much) with larger orgs where there’s a huge value range. However, the business owners I support do work with orgs. It’s my job to always be learning how to be the best advisor possible on their market.

“this deep work strategy made me $700K in 30 days” You sure it wasn’t having an audience of hundreds of thousands, and then coupling that with this strategy?

Another amazing episode about where to spend your podcasting budget from @iamjeremyenns and @mijustin Going to take their ideas about a welcome sequence tied to a “best of playlist” for each segment of my audience and revamp my email welcome sequence. (Someday).

When I heard this book title: All the Gold Stars: Reimagining Ambition and the Ways We Strive (just released today) - immediately thought of @p_millerd and @khemaridh - either of you read this one as a pre-read?

If you’re on the precipice of a revenue or capacity threshold…. How much of your time is spent planning for and dreaming of the “next level”? Versus feeling the deep desire to just burn it all down?

I love the idea of taking 4+ days to respond to emails as a rejection of hustle culture…. But if you say you respond to current clients within 24 hours… and it’s a quick logistics question…. When are you allowed to be annoyed at the radio silence?

It’s time to set your next season’s intentions. Because without a plan, it’s too easy to get distracted by courses, programs, “expert advice.” Or not building at all and simply focusing on client work. Learn my approach in tomorrow’s newsletter 👇 https://t.co/5WPbj0jdZ2
