@DRDisabilityReb Why not give the current figures for new registrations?. Your figures are just as misleading as the ones you're disputing. They include ex Motability "off lease" as not being. Now do like for like, cars 3 years old & less when the Motability stuff comes off lease.

Exactly. What has been reported is 1 in 5 New Cars:. I'm all for fighting against Journos and Cuts. But Advocates who get it wrong. Need to accept if someone corrects a mistake.

You point out facts. And explain in support of motability how statistics are being misinterpreted. more often by both sides. and one who is spreading false myth busters. hides the evidence. It wasn't a myth that 1 in 5 on road are motability . 1 in 5 registered in 2024.

This is why people and Advocates need to do better research before they spread "awareness". 2m registered in 2024.C.380,000 purchased by motability . = 1 in 5. People who misread it as 1 in 5 of total "on the road".

So, all this tabloid hate on the Motability scheme is a deflection to mask the real agenda: turning the public against disabled people in order to justify cuts to welfare. Also to scapegoat them, so that the public blames them for England's economic ills. Sick, innit?.

Can't reply because adam blocked me 😅. A minority percentage of customers don't take care of the cars. Scuffs dents, torn seats or missed servicing. All you need to do is look at inspection reports on some of the auction lists.
@GuestyBFC @TraceyYoung13 @adamfare1996 I would have thought with free servicing and repairs they would be in good shape. I’ve had three former Motability cars and they were fine.
