I especially resonated with #7: âGrades are less motivating than we think.â Might I also add that grading the adults is pretty low effect size too. Thanks again @edutopia!
9 reasons to grade less, starting right now. From less stress for you *and* your students to a healthier outlook on learning, hereâs a research-backed list. đ https://t.co/htrZzvdqbr

It was a pleasure to visit this class and share how Missouri is dedicated to developing school leaders.
Thanks to Joe Beydler and @jschuler2 for coming to talk the our internship class about the #MLDS. Something Missouri principals are fortunate to have available to them throughout their career. #ucmoedlead #UCMTeachRed

Just read this Madeline Hunter quote in the @MOASSP Messenger. âGood teaching is the art of saying nothing when nothing needs to be said.â This applies to more than teaching.

This breaks my heart.
Iowa high school principal Dan Marburger, who engaged a shooter to give his students time to escape earlier this month, has died of his injuries. Thinking of his family and Perry Community School today; he'd served the kids in Perry for over 25 years. He is a hero. #RIP @NASSP

Great principals create the conditions that attract and retain great teachers. Itâs complicated⌠but also simple. Invest in principals.
âWe have a growing base of solid evidence that effective principals benefit teachers and students and drive school success,â Wallace president Will Miller tells an audience of school principals.

https://t.co/KQ7ywjY4Tq Hey friends in the Philadelphia area. My buddy could use some volunteers to help him set up for his award winning display at Reading Market. If you know any young people needed some volunteer hours this is a great opportunity.

Howâs your feedback toolbox looking? Great teaching is often the aggregate of a dozen sharp moves over a span of just a few minutes. Instructional leaders do well to notice and illuminate these moves. 30 Sec Feedback can help! #rutherfordlg.com

Or, what about a director that doesnât have a political agenda?
The Missouri State Board of Education must hire a director who supports #ParentalRights #CharterSchools and #SchoolChoice. Every child deserves a quality education. @MOEducation #MoLeg @DougRicheyMO

Teachersâwhen planning for students reflect on: What does their repetitious behavior tell you they canât manage? What restrictions/protections do they need? What skill are you teaching and practicing? Our goal: sustainable transformation! #BISTon @OurCornerstones
