Missouri State Representative @JoshHurlbert says if we go to school choice he’ll support $50,000 minimum @MOEducation teacher salary. Looking for him to file this clean bill (nothing else attached) with funding next session. We’ll be watching. @MSTA @MissouriNEA @MASALeaders.
There is something else those two states have for their students that Missouri does not. If you are offering the Arkansas deal of a $50k minimum teacher salary in exchange for universal school choice, then I am in. #moleg.

Many "get it" when it comes to teacher shortage. Employers need solid help-they "steal teachers" from classrooms by paying competitive salaries. @MoEducation #moleg pretty slow to catch on 👇There's a reason many Mo border schools are on the 4-day week. @MSTA @MissouriNEA @moasbo

On July 4, 1776, at the time of the Declaration of Independence, about 2.8 million people resided in what would soon become the United States. This number mirrors today's populations of the Kansas City metro area and the St. Louis city combined. #HappyIndependenceDay 🇺🇸

Teachers enjoy using AI for teaching, but are not so sure about students using it. Many teachers feel AI use is "cheating." All agree it is "big business" with lots of profit potential. @MoStateCOE @MOEducation @MASALeaders @MOASSP @MoAESP
