This is welcome news. After my effort to defund SEL, this past session, met with significant opposition, I wasn’t sure this day would actually arrive.
After reviewing 1800 public comments on K-12 SEL Standards, Missouri State Board Of Education decided not to approve the SEL Standards and put the breaks on pursuing it any further as “SEL.” They decided to switch focus to “classroom behavioral management.”
