Honestly no reason to make a blog post except this dickhead I was working for gave me three bad checks in a row which decimated my bank account and left me once again muttering to myself about the towering heaps of broken images that will soon make everyone illiterate.

I started a private Insta just for writing. Most people I know irl don’t know I write so I don’t really use my Instagram, but a lot of my fave writing people have migrated over there permanently so I’m trying to use it more. Anyway, if you’re on instagram come say hi:)

For the record I enjoy both dry academic writing and blasé diarists, but the detached style is pretty popular so if you’re doing it you need to have something else like incredible prose, startling insight, or a unique narrative for the work to stand out.
