I'm working on revisions for a 2nd run of The Valeries. That means two things. 1.) I get to fix the error in the first sentence. 2.) We've nearly sold out the first run. Given that I don't have a marketing team or a publicist behind me, nor the academic pedigree that might.

Always regret posting on Substack. They say its good for writers. The opposite is true. People use it for the same ego-driven social incentives as any other platform. The worst writing rises to the top. No one is reading that crap. If I wasn't so sad i'd blog on my own server.

Honestly no reason to make a blog post except this dickhead I was working for gave me three bad checks in a row which decimated my bank account and left me once again muttering to myself about the towering heaps of broken images that will soon make everyone illiterate.
