Today, December 11th, is the birthday of Josephine Grace Gay. She died at 7 at Sandy Hook. From the family’s 2017 5th anniversary memorial: “[Joey] was affectionate and friendly, determined and hardworking, mischievous and fun-loving. She was the girly-est of our girls.”

Apprenticeship programs are good for workers and businesses. They allow workers to earn a good wage while training on the job, and businesses can fill open positions. I’m working to expand these programs so we can keep our workforce and our economy strong.
