Still can’t believe 1) Francis and I are on a first name basis 2) he agreed to be one of my science/ life mentors 🥺.
It was an honor and privilege to interview Dr. Francis Collins, former director of the @NIH. He was the only Presidentially appointed NIH Director to serve more than one administration, discovered disease genes (cystic fibrosis), and headed the @genome_gov from 1993-2008!
