I have #cysticfibrosis and I’ve always said that no one (really) has a clue what goes on behind closed doors to enable me to function. The same is true for my husband’s #LongCovid. So much preparation, adjustment & sleep is needed to ‘survive’ each day - & flare-ups a daily fear

Still feeling emotional from @NickyAACampbell phone in on #LongCovid this morning. I rang in & explained my husband’s @gavinwillacy situation. A powerful & moving segment that resonated so much. He’s now listened but is now on sleep no2 of the 3 he’ll need to get through today

Superb. Every second of the production worthy of rapturous applause. And with dance choreography by @arlenephillips I knew we’d see fabulous Latin numbers!
When the interval is like this - floor filled by punters, cast singing on stage - you know it’s something special but Guys and Dolls at @_bridgetheatre is different level genius. Stunning. @DanielMays9 led a magnificent cast (& delivered a killer baseball gag!) Just go people! 💪🏾

I know you relate to this a lot @gavinwillacy It must add to the fatigue levels to feel you have to justify your activities to those who don’t (want to?) understand
One of the hardest things with LC (& no doubt ME/CFS too) is dealing with the ‘how come you can’t do this? When you could do that…’ from people around you (it’s often implicit or in subtext). The (differing) spoon cost of certain activities can be totally invisible to others.

50th bday treat last night to see @MyFairLadyUK and my first theatre outing since the pandemic. Wow! What an amazing production. The cast, set, music, costumes - it blew me away. Even spotted some salsa and flamenco! And what a superstar Amara (Eliza) is. Loved every second.
