Some love to take a moral high ground, however wrong they may be. Or ? lime light. I was once told by a senior medical manager that it would be wrong to allow me a phone to go to dangerous places as it might not āalways ā work! He had one ofc for his desk and meetings!.

Many doctors in their late 20 s are in bad burnout. They are tired and deeply cynical about their profession and itās future and about why they chose what should be the noblest of vocations. And ā¦.yes, they cannot live on air pie and windy pudding. They need a decent life.
I promise you I have never met a single resident doctor that has a reason for staying in the uk that isnāt family or personal circumstances. We should want people to stay here because the pay is good, they are treated well, and they enjoy working for the NHS. Anyone that.

You just canāt conceive of the depths of the dental contract disaster until you realise how many are in abject dental 𦷠pain and tooth 𦷠loss. This should receive the biggest steely focus of our ācare in community ā right now. Why do we persist in denial?.
"Weāll never make the shift from sickness to prevention when millions have given up even trying to access care," says @eddiecrouch. "Our patients continue to face an historic crisis, that requires a proportionate response from government.".

When the immensely hard working staff ( in debt doctors, nurses, paramedics) you work with kept someone warm or pain free for the day, itās unbearable that we canāt pay them enough to not be cold and secure themselves , over their night. Desperate, isnāt it.
Healthcare is undervalued in the UK. Not just doctors- but nurses, paramedics and other healthcare professionals . This is a sad reflection on uk society that nurses and other poorly paid healthcare staff have to go to food banks to make ends meet. The thing is- people will.
