AI workflows are technically impressive, but there’s a deeper reason people are really amped about AI agents. This isn’t just new tech, it’s new psychology. Until now, very few people have known what it feels like to delegate to total competency. If you manage great people, or

One of the biggest problems with our political system is that leaders equate spending with solving the problem. Once you realize this you see it everywhere. “We are committing to $20b in homeless funding” And 100 other variants. No talk of outcomes. Ever. It’s maddening.

First thing I did in our new house was change all the bulbs. 2700k is the only way.

If you are visiting family for the holidays, order ahead some 2700k bulbs and surreptitiously swap them into every fixture. No one has to know, just quietly enjoy everyone's dramatically improved mood. https://t.co/xiyuxVE3IT

For this reason I’m still pro alcohol in moderation. Social isolation is terrible for your health. The reality is that a lot of people connect over drinks. It’s a deeply embedded ritual that people abandon without thinking about second and third order consequences. Until we

The zero alcohol movement is funny because a lot of people traded drinks with friends for social media doomscrolling, porn, and gambling by themselves.

If women having kids in their 20s, then starting work in their 30s becomes a real trend, some employers will generate enormous value for themselves by creating career on-ramps for them.

Sad story for the seller. Hard to believe the information asymmetry is so huge in certain cases. But that’s true of many markets. I assumed markets are rational. And they are, for the most part. But occasionally they are totally irrational.

Generator guy came to my house this morning for a service. He said he sold his company last year; had 50 employees, and was clearing about $1.2M in SDE. He said he got a good deal because they paid him about 90 cents on the dollar for his assets and inventory (total of $600k) and

While I understand its basic premise, you are not in poverty if you are $1235 per month on transportation. That assumes two car payments on vehicles that are relatively decent. Also assumes childcare costs are ongoing, which they are not. That being said, this is a worthwhile

I’m no AI expert, but it seems like proprietary training data plus the ability to integrate AI into useful products through established distribution channels will dominate. So I agree google probably wins here.

The best way to change government financial accountability: Eliminate taxes on paychecks and require everyone to write a lump sum check on tax day. A tax refund is not found money. You loaned money to one of the most inefficient orgs on earth without interest.

Anti Elon stickers are such a cheap way to virtue signal. If you don’t like Elon, fine. But have some conviction. Take the hit on depreciation, sell the vehicle and buy a Rivian or the many other EV options. But the idea that you can 1click purchase an Amazon sticker, slap it
