1/6 Palantir sued 3 of Percepta's employees (including me) last week. They're trying to bully us. We should all be concerned when a $400B+ giant is attacking a 35-person start-up over baseless allegations.

Exciting update: I’ve joined @AnthropicAI as a researcher. The potential to fight disease is core to why I believe we should keep improving AI (for now). Grateful to work on this problem at a company whose philosophy on AI for good resonates deeply with me. Onwards!

Getting a new idea off the ground is tough. A trick: start with a minimum evolvable product. Some thoughts here.

So glad someone is doing this -- I have been wondering what the best frontier models are for scientific tool use, v interesting to see the results. Hopefully this inspires frontier labs to optimize against some of these classic comp chem / drug discovery workflows.

The smartest AI agents still panic when given tools, and new ones are churning out of labs faster than anyone can test them. After 7 years at the bench, I left to build BioArena to see which models are doing real work and which ones are just doing PR. https://t.co/JpA1ePP64l

New blog post: The bug that taught me more about PyTorch than years of using it started with a simple training loss plateau... ended up digging through optimizer states, memory layouts, kernel dispatch, and finally understanding how PyTorch works!

YC took a bet on me almost 8 years ago and changed my life. The partners we worked with in building Reverie helped us navigate some of our hardest moments. I feel so fortunate to have a job helping the next generation of founders set out on their own incredible adventures.

I just wrote my first blog post, “Everything is Training Data Now.” I noticed myself starting to doubt LLM performance on certain benchmarks due to data contamination / gaming, and wanted to see how real this is. Spoiler alert: there’s a lot of variance across models and labs.

Awesome new offering from Ginkgo Datapoints -- we will price match any ADME service quote you get (including from Chinese or other international vendors). We plan to have the best per-compound pricing out of the gate anyway --our automation at Ginkgo allows best in class

With the start of my first batch as a visiting partner at @ycombinator, this felt like a good time to write my founder story about our journey at @reverielabs. It's a bit of a long one. https://t.co/KWyMxPDdXO

NYT tweeted this to its 55 million followers and it has under 500 retweets - presumably suppressed due to the link out. “John Kelly, Donald Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, said Trump met the definition of a fascist and would try to govern like a dictator if elected”
