My gorgeous son @AnonymousCroco1 has flown the nest 😥 He left this morning to start his basic training at Pirbright. I couldn’t be prouder of him. After 18 years of it just being the two of us I’m going to miss him SO SO much but am thrilled that he’s following his dreams.1/2

June 2nd 1982: Taking advantage of bad weather, the Fleet Clearance Diving Team recover the Starboard 20mm Oerlikon gun from the wreck of HMS Antelope and mount it onto HMS Avenger. Fixed overnight, by the next day "Antelope's Avenger" as it is dubbed, is ready for action.

Applied for a #passport renewal online yesterday. Now I know better than to count my chickens but it was remarkably easy to do. Hopefully I’ll have recovered from the heart attack caused by the £75.50 charge before it arrives..sometime in next 10 months so I’ve heard 🤔
