I just learned that the @llamafile project I did for Mozilla Builders has been adopted by 32% of organizations. That’s more popular in the cloud than Anthropic! It goes to show that local AI with fast CPU prefill and RHEL5 support is a winning formula.

Reinforcement learning is having a moment - think post-training for reasoning models, agentic browsing, optimizing multi-agent systems, etc. @RyanSullyvan is a leading mind developing reproducible, open source methods to train and evaluate these complex systems. 1/.
A few months ago, I successfully defended my PhD thesis at @UofMaryland! Huge thanks to my advisor @johnpdickerson and committee members @MingCLinCS, @furongh, and @PeterStone_TX. Next up: I’m excited to join @jeffclune’s lab as a postdoc at @UBC to work on open-endedness!.
