After quite a few hours of trial & error, I got it. Really happy that I actually managed to get the reed plants to follow the waterline instead of just being randomly spread out.
On to the next: Finally updating Wetlands to make marshes no longer look like ink blots. Random scattering of reeds and grass didn't work out nicely. I like this handcrafted result but don't have a satisfying solution for how to bring it into the game yet, unfortunately.

These leader models are starting to look absolutely fantastic again. The Persian buildings, too. This angle and lighting truly brings the Gate of All Nations to new heights. Wasn't convinced about its looks before but here it's just stunning!
The King of Kings. Bear witness to ๐๐๐ซ๐ฑ๐๐ฌ & his 2๏ธโฃ unique personas!. Catch this #Civ7 First Look ๐

I'm hyped for this game but people should be aware that the extra content amounts to the equivalent of the NFP *without the game modes* for 50% higher price ($60 extra).
Back to where it all began. Introducing ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐: ๐

Pure insanity at this point just how stacked Hooded Horse's lineup has become. So many of the best strategy/builder as of late in there. Firaxis has been challenged by strategy giants Microsoft, SEGA, and Paradox. May God have mercy on us the day HH picks up a pan-historic 4X. .
The Hooded Horse Publisher Sale is live until October 10. Breachway is out in Early Access, Against the Storm: Keepers of the Stone DLC has launched, and all our titles are on sale now!. @Lord_Mandalore has made something absolutely mad for this. See the link below.

Making Garden building visuals for District Expansion compatibility might be my new favorite activity!
The Sumerian temple was more than just a monument or a site of worship. It also formed the center of the urban economy, with workshops, markets, and warehouses, as well as scribes to manage property, taxes, and maybe even one or the other customer complaint about metal products.

Something personal for once: I'm pleased to announce that I have started a Masters in Urban Management and Development at @ihserasmusuni. That's right, I'm literally studying Urban Complexity now.

@FXS_MisterKevin Love them all but with the lopsided representation I can't wait for you to say "last patch of the season" again so we can keep hoping for some Meso- and South America (and also Latin Europe with Rome and Spain) after this!.

@PotatoMcWhiskey @Xmifi_44 When Civ VI released, literally nobody went "where are Governors, CO2 emissions, Power, Golden Age Dedications and the Government Plaza?" - we didn't know those things were even "missing" before they were added.

@PotatoMcWhiskey Whoever came up first with loot boxes should've patented them so we would've been spared their proliferation.

The results make sense, imho the chronic 4X late-game problem goes back to a loss of the exploration component. Late-game units have exciting combat. "Numbers go brrrr" never stops. Expansion also slows down but often on player's own terms ("tall"). But exploration is just lost.

@PotatoMcWhiskey Gamers can be insufferable sometimes. The myth persists that Civ comes barebones for a main release because they dropped the ball *once* with Civ V in that regard. Civ VI was fairly "complete" on launch and had only cut the roughest features that indeed needed a rework first.

@CivGame you will also need this mod to make your forest and jungle look like that: I know it's shameless self-promotion, but since Civ/Firaxis still doesn't post regular (or even sporadic!) mod showcases like Paradox or Amplitude do, it has to be done, lol.

@PotatoMcWhiskey To me this just seems like a strong indicator that the models are very much still WIP.

@DocksEcky Would love for an audio button in the civilopedia which, like some wikipedia articles, read out the titular term for you. Could be voiced by the leader VAs.

@notamateurhour @TilFolkvang @SiteRelEnby I'm from "Germans???" and can confirm that the question marks are actually part of the identity and not indicating authorial confusion.

Counterpoint: do try it out and report your issues to the creator. Modders aren't professional dev studios who can hire testers and QA. Rather, mods are co-creations with the community and people trying out mods *despite* them being janky is fundamental to fixing that very jank.
This Witcher 3 mod that lets you play as a custom character or a whole new sorceress class is super promising, but maybe wait a few months for it to iron out the kinks

@TilFolkvang > I asked, are you a chud or is it just a game.> they dont understand the question.> I explain the various ways one can engage with historic games.> "dont worry, I am a good gamer".> they send dm.> it's a chud.

Heh, look, I actually *did* build that, in a way. Also, Albro and @actsukrit and there's also a lumber mill resource I don't recognize right away but is definitely from a mod.
