There is ZERO question that moving supply routes away from China is necessary. There is a question and a reasonable debate regarding pace and level of aggressiveness. Trump is right about the need..if someone is vociferously against, chances are they’ve fallen to derangement.
Just in 2009 the US manufactured more than China, now China manufactures twice as much as the US. One simply cannot outsource critical products to a rival. Trump is right with his tariffs approach.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is now proposing a new "head tax" to fix the deficit after destroying their budget. All companies employing 100+ people in Chicago will have to pay a tax of $21 per employee per month, simply for having employees. A punishment for hiring people.
