A stalwart for the racing industry, Michael was a straight shooter who understood the value of a relationship. He was a purpose-driven leader who took the time to get to know the fans, yielding unmistakable momentum, loyalty and fun. Rest in peace.

This is the only time I ever saw Greg pour cold water on anything. And as with everything in life, he did it with purpose and a smile. He was instantly likable and a giver at heart with a keen awareness of the big picture. One of the good guys. Prayers to all of the families.

Christmas came early this week when James Finch called to shoot the bull and share a laugh. Had fun catching up on just about everything and always appreciate his wisdom. One of one.

What I don’t want to see disappear is the sensibility and sincerity that families like the Earnhardt’s bring to the sport. There’s nothing more valuable or important, especially at this moment.

“MBS” had it locked no matter, but a good reminder that @FIA roads can be dark, slippery and perilous. Sort of like black/clear ice you can’t see but know it’s there, lurking, waiting to bust your ass. The FIA's grip needs real testing to ensure its roads are at least passable.

I have to believe those sharpshooters looking out for the “betterment of the sport” explored a MENA deal (i.e. Abu Dhabi) but there’s a lot more to it than funding; someone has to do the work. In the end, when evaluating the options to branch out, it was obviously easier to sue.

BAM's continued success is no surprise or coincidence. Tad and Jodi have always separated themselves from the rest, putting in the work to land, grow and sustain blue-chip partners. They've long known the path to showing value & have in many ways blazed the trail like no others.

Grant Lynch knew what fun looked like and delivered it at levels only known at Talladega. He loved NASCAR, loved the people and that reflected in all that he did. He was the best of the best and I’m grateful to have known him. Prayers to the Lynch family.

No way. Kentucky precedent already says the market definition should consider other sports and possibly other forms of entertainment. It’s no secret that NASCAR customers can and do effectively turn to these many alternatives.

Hanging it all out for the love of the sport is what has and always will get my attention no matter what you’re racing. @LeePulliam11 continues to lead by example on and off the track, and I’d like to see more of that “on” part!

The @WWTRaceway team transitions seamlessly from one successful major event to the next, delivering a big experience for the fans every step of the way. They know hard work and they know fun!
