Dreamed about my dad last night. We raced somewhere in 1980 style Monte Carlos. Seemed like an imagined track similar to Texas World Speedway. Odd part was Will Smith came by after the race and him and dad talked like they were good friends.

My grandfather Ralph Earnhardt bought this truck in 1966. Through some friends help and determination, it belongs to the family again. Original engine. Gonna get tires and brakes working, and drive it around a bit. No resto plans. Just glad to have it.

Sad news about the passing of Cale today. A legend behind the wheel for sure, but he had a personality, grit, and swagger that attracted fans around the world to him and to Nascar. He truly made the sport far better for being a part of it. My heart goes out to his family.
