Fantastic infographic. The #Stage3taxcuts are bad LNP policy from 2018: before the pandemic and the colossal spending that accompanied it, before the inflation, rental and cost of living crisis. It is so out of step it borders on immoral. How can the ALP continue to support this?

“The world’s most productive areas, the places where the biggest breakthroughs are made, are in cities. But if we make them prohibitively expensive, the chance of a scientific or technological innovation is reduced.” There are solutions beyond USA/UK: but we need political will.

“NIMBYs come in a variety of forms, but the most confounding are those who call themselves progressive yet abuse laws conceived to protect the environment, or foster good government, to block desperately needed housing, driving up costs and fueling homelessness.”

“Building infrastructure such as roads, electrical grids and communications for fringe suburbs is up to four times more expensive than adapting infrastructure in established suburbs with growth capacity, according to Infrastructure Victoria.” Great piece @GuardianAus #YIMBY
