School equity is closely related to housing equity. Important discussion about exclusionary wealthy areas in Melbourne below. There are shrinking school populations in some of these high-income areas where everyone could benefit from more housing choices.

An underrated good Australian policy is the health star rating on kid snacks. The "nice & natural" branding not as convincing on a 2-star product. Contrast to the US where it was almost impossible to identify low-sugar kid foods by looking at the box on our last trip.
