Today I joined the CS for Labour and Social Protection @CsChelugui @SafaricomPLC CEO @PeterNdegwa_ for the launch of @SafaricomPLC Industry Digital Talent Program that aims to train 1000 youths by March,2023 and equip them with digital skills to transform Kenya's labour market

Earlier today I was in Bondo Referral Hospital- Siaya County where I kicked off the UHC Connectivity project funded by Google. Later in the afternoon, I joined Maseno School where we donated computers in partnership with Huawei Technologies Kenya Ltd. @MoICTKenya @mucheru

Today, I joined the Cabinet Secretary @mucheru and Chief Justice @CJMarthaKoome in the launch of Judiciary connectivity project that aims to connect 67 law courts to National Optic Fibre Backbone, implemented by @MoICTKenya through support from @Google. @Kenyajudiciary

Held a meeting today with the Republic of South Sudan delegation led by Dr. Jacob M Korok, Deputy Minister ICT and Postal Services. We discussed areas of collaboration which includes E-Government Services, Data Protection and Cyber Security amongst others. @MoICTKenya @mucheru

Today I officially opened 4 days Steering Committee training in Brussels,Belgium where the @MoICTKenya senior management will be trained on the role of ICT Infrastructure for National Development.The objective of the project is to enhance internet connectivity across the country

I was honored today by the Google Executive Global Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy Mr. Doron Avi who paid a courtesy call and we further discussed the implementation of the Google funded Project which will see Hospitals, TVETs and Judiciary connected to internet.

2/2; The training attracted over 100 participants ranging from national and county government officers, ICT suppliers, contractors and practitioners. We were also taken through exhibitions by young innovators who showcased brilliant innovations in ICT.
