Public Announcement. I am not a revolutionary. I do not aspire to lead. I am not interested in public office. I engage in politics, public affairs out of self-interest, personal fulfilment, to advance my own freedom. If you see me as fighting for you its a coincidence. Thank You

We stepped forward when freedom of expression and assembly, let alone free and fair were dreams. We participated in unwinnable elections to expand democratic space. You can run as independents. You are just a bunch of lazy entitled brats who only show up for selfies.
@DavidNdii People didn’t step forward because the system is built to lock out ordinary candidates — high fees, party gatekeeping, intimidation, and expensive campaigns. If we want real alternatives, the barriers must be fixed first, not the voters blamed.

The fire breathing keyboard moral crusaders did not step forward? Ni vitisho tu kwa mitandao? 🫣
The race in Kasipul is between a Nepo baby whose father was a thug and a murderer by all accounts vs a fraudster/ bank robber. The third option is a wash wash merchant. That’s the scope of that election. All of this allegedly of course.

@DavidNdii My contribution when I get back home. Better pay for my farm worker, longer working hours, feeding them if they work for you, and last but not least, zero wage theft under my watch. Doing all manner of jobs in Korea, I've never met a boss who works less than the rest of his team

If you bothered to listen to the President, you would realize that this is what he is saying (on second thoughts, you probably wouldnt).
You've opinion about everything but when it comes to advising the President on revolutionising the economy without stating garbled figures and exaggerated statistics is where you draw the line.

Because China is practicing capitalism (both market and state varieties), and US crony capitalism aka socialism for the rich.
You ever wondered why the people who scream “socialism is evil” can’t seem to explain why, since 1970, more USA (GO CAPITALISM!)people have slipped into extreme poverty while in China (Socialism with Chinese characteristics), more people have been lifted out of extreme poverty?

But Eng. Mativo, financing heavy capex infra with debt on budget is how Jubilee got us into fiscal distress, and brush with default. How do we finance human capital if we use all our fiscal space on commercially viable infra? One $500m power project = 10k engineering degrees.
I wish the project had used debt to finance the project instead of equity. Equity will be around 14-16% interest rate while borrowing external debt can almost half the interest rate. But unfortunately it will be dollar denominated and therefore bring forex adjustment risks.

@waikwawanyoike @DavidNdii I am a nobody, but I don't expect you (civil society) to react that way to a person of @DavidNdii stature and similar civil struggle when he questions your real world interpretations. As our (political) ECONOMIST , he has obliterated all my prior political naivety.

Now that you have benchmarked, stop gawking, go home and build your country. Nobody owes you a better life. Ukiona viaelea, vimeundwa.
Nothing prepares you for the shock of visiting a country where systems actually serve the people. You see how everything flows, from efficient public transport, clean public spaces, quality food, clean air... People who don’t carry the weight of broken systems on their shoulders.

Ratings are not read in isolation— they reflect both borrower and market factors in this case overall frontier markets trends.
@DavidNdii @mtukufumimi When UDA took power in 2022, Kenya had a B rating; it was lowered to B- in August 2024 and then upgraded to B in August 2025. You've taken one step back and one forward? Is that progress? Are you mad?

We are servicing our debt. Investors and creditors have confidence in our creditwothiness. All our debt issuances domestic and foreign are oversubscribed.
@NjauWaina @DavidNdii "A debt crisis is a situation where a sovereign entity is unable or unwilling to make required payments on its debt, or there is a serious fear of this happening." -AI overview. A nation burdened by its own debts does not inherently signify a debt crisis. A crisis arises only-

Welcome to democracy aka representative government, in which people get the leaders they deserve.
No surprises. His stand on theft, pilferage, plunder and corruption has never been in doubt as espoused by his entire think tank led by the ever arrogant and condescending @DavidNdii who put it thus on Sep 15, 2024 at 12:24H (UTC+03:00)
