Running Stately, I tried to make a huge effort in the small things (like these messages and birthdays) and do my best to have personalized messages, gifts, etc. for my team to know how much we value them.

A simple "happy workaversary" message can make a huge difference in making someone feel valued, recognized, and important. But without the message you can easily make the them feel like their hard work isn't appreciated, or goes unnoticed. Has anyone experienced either side?
