I’ve already been enjoying @danielben’s forthcoming ‘Storyteller’ through the unexpectedly philosophical (and sometimes just unexpected) player feedback on the demo.
STORYTELLER from @danielben comes to Nintendo Switch and Steam on March 23, 2023. Wishlist on Steam now // https://t.co/3WN5dNObud

‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ never quite lives up to its makers’ (admirably grand) ambitions, but boy does its title tee up some top-notch marquee work.

I would cede all of Mitt Romney’s criticism of the U.S. liberal establishment if he would acknowledge that in an election between Ronald Reagan, David Duke, George Washington, and Jesus, his voter base would elect David Duke in a landslide.
"Wishful thinking happens across the political spectrum. More and more, we are a nation in denial," @MittRomney writes:

It’s not easy to find statements from and endorsements of many of the candidates at these levels, but it’s a lot easier to do from home than hurriedly on a phone at the poling site. If you are here in NYC, https://t.co/KH6w7yAeBq makes it easy to see who is on your ballot.

(I mean, so unsung that I have to look them up every year they appear. Delegate to Judicial Convention? I *know* I’ve seen that before... Manhattan Surrogate? I was today years old when I learned that one!)

It’s easy to be all-consumed by the crumbling of liberty and democracy at the federal level, but we should also remember that New York has a primary Tuesday (with early voting tomorrow!). Governor is there, yes, but the ballot is *packed* with candidates for unsung positions.

That the headline writer understood the gist of @DLeonhardt’s piece today well enough to write a clear subheadline only increases the number of questions I have about the comma in the top line.

On the cusp of the new year, it seems like the perfect time to share this public art proposal I made in collaboration with @jameslucas, whom I connected with thanks to @longnow. You can read a bit of our proposal here: https://t.co/qJYvyVbmAn

Finally—a place where you don’t have to justify your martini by spouting the cliché that “it’s five o’clock somewhere”. You just put on your snowshoes or get in your dinghy (depending on the season) and *go there*.

I love a good timeline coïncidence as much as the next fellow, and this one is a doozy—well done, @ideasimprove and @ThunderNixon (and happy birthday, Derek)!

This is just the tip of the iceberg for 2020 Census data releases.

@djrrb I can’t stop thinking about the complexity of this…and you haven’t even added the width axis yet! Makes me dizzy.

I think all these ‘f’s exist so that ligatures can be composed on-the-fly from independent glyphs. I can’t account for all 10 (or 8) ‘f’s, but that may just be due to some WIP bugginess.

Some of the nuances escape me. (ss06) seems to be identical to the default unless contextual alternates are turned on; the same goes for (salt) and (ss01).
