Excellent thread, but an expert in #Geriatrics & #PALTC should have been included. We can’t continue to ignore social isolation in older adults. We MUST address real #PersonCentered long term care needs of the vulnerable.

I introduced the Essential Caregivers Act to allow appointed caregivers to visit loved ones in long term care facilities during a public health crisis. Americans were isolated from loved ones during COVID & suffered as a result. Our bill will ensure that doesn't happen again.
