Stanford just made a $200,000 AI degree free. No application. No tuition. No “elite access”. Stanford released its actual AI/ML curriculum on YouTube. Not a PR-friendly intro. Not “AI for the public”. This is the real thing. The same lectures shaping people working on

Hi @MasseyForSenate - making it a class A felony (like first-degree murder) for AI to "Provide emotional support" is the worst idea I've seen in a full week, and I spend several hours on twitter every day.

Lawmakers in Tennessee are trying to make it illegal for AI to provide emotional support or act as a friend / companion. Training a chatbot to do this would be a Class A felony - comparable to aggravated rape or murder. Just pure insanity 🙄

In this piece of brain tissue the size of sand grain are 200,000 neurons and nearly 2.5 miles of axons. While it may seem small in size, it was previously thought impossible to map. The road to this beautiful image is both a scientific and human triumph: https://t.co/RtWiMgq75y

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been sending their support to me while I am incarcerated at FPC Morgantown. If you have read my Day 1 Letter published by The Rage: https://t.co/NwURo1i6Dz you will know that due to a Friday surrender and the surrounding holiday

Justice Amy Coney Barrett is warning that Britain’s criminalization of “offensive” speech shows what happens when a nation loses faith in free expression. Without strong constitutional limits, “harmful” becomes whatever the state says it is.

I am personally surprised that Comex announced margins on silver futures will go up ~10% on Monday since such a move hurts those who are short significantly more compared to those who are long and holding deeply profitable positions as it is the case right now. FYI - The last

They cannot raise margins because that will hurt the shorts badly right now, reason why they didn’t do it and they cannot do it. Comex lost the grip on silver the moment they pulled the plug on Thanksgiving night

@prestonjbyrne Trying to police the entire internet with English law is unworkable. It would have been better to create a child safety standard for digital services and then devices could be locked down to child safe services/apps only with no need to police and control all of the internet.

This guy wrote a paean to the Online Safety Act saying that defending the Act was "defending British sovereignty." Now Substack, implementing the terms of the OSA, is censoring writers in order to comply with the OSA's requirements. And he's mad. The OSA is a bad law, period.

I am dismayed to learn from the latest J’accuse that Substack is voluntarily demonetising British writers on the right, throwing them under a bus. (It doesn’t have to, and no one else is doing it). Time to find a new platform.

Banks earn 4.4% on reserves parked at the Fed... They pay you 0.01% on your savings account. And now they're lobbying Congress to make sure stablecoins can't offer you anything better. The GENIUS Act already settled this. Congress spent months hashing out a compromise.
