@TheTNHoller Bannon tells us what they're going to do. Idk why people ignore him. He's telling us, Trump will be president & the Constitution/elections are gone. Hope MAGA surrenders their guns as peacefully as they did the Country/Constitution. I don't want to be caught in the crossfire.

BANNON: “Trump will be president in 2028 and get a third term. People oughta get accommodated with that.” “What about the constitution?” BANNON: “He’s a vehicle of divine providence.” (PSA: Believe them. He is not joking.)

Zohran claims to be Mr Affordable Housing, but can't say whether he is for or against the ballot initiatives on housing two days before people start voting? What a con! @melissadderosa @MichaelRapaport @andrewcuomo @errollouis @patkiernan @rosannascotto

Mamdani, Brad Lander, Keith Powers all speaking at a TransAlt event opening a busway due to a backroom deal to rezone midtown for more luxury condos & shut down a connection between 2 tunnels. Who’s not in Uber & the billionaire tech bros pockets?
So, bus riders lost the race 😔😔 But hey — we’re ALL winning the war for faster, better buses on our streets! Thank you @TransAlt, @ebottcher, @KeithPowersNYC, @NYCComptroller, @tonysimone, and @ZohranKMamdani for always supporting fast, reliable buses!

How dare we ask you to *checks notes* go into the empty lane beside the truck for twenty feet? no, everyone else in nyc must bend over backwards for your hobby. everyone else is a second class citizen compared to you.
Guy loading cars one by one onto two 18-wheelers parked in the bike lane and curses at anyone who gets upset at him. Of course NYPD traffic enforcement is MIA. Law-abiding cyclists trying to get to where they need to go safely do not exist as far as Jessica Tisch is concerned.

reminder: DOT/TransAlt decided to unilaterally reduce a major thoroughfare to 15mph without notifying anyone (not even our CM) to “prioritize e-bikes.” e-bikes not stopping for lights are more important than everyone else on the road. Everyone else doesn’t matter.
Rode this for the first time today, and I only stopped at one light from 3rd Avenue & 65th Street to Willis Avenue & 135th Street Truly a glorious ride

Yet another rush hour meltdown. $1bn a year in congestion tolls, folks. Plus they want to hike the fare. It’s also raining, so please don’t tell me to “ride a bike”.
N/Q/R/W service is disrupted in both directions while we address a switch problem near Prince St. For details, use the MTA App or visit https://t.co/vhZQ2kZ2vb.

Not a peep from any of the bike bros or @TransAlt about DOT allowing Waymo to dump robotaxis on the streets of NYC. Goes to show you that the lobbyists are not against all cars - just ones that you and I own. Robotaxis in NYC are a monumentally stupid idea.
We’re a tech-friendly administration and we’re always looking for innovative ways to SAFELY move our city forward. NYC is proud to welcome @Waymo to test their self-driving vehicle technology in Manhattan and Brooklyn with a trained AV-specialist behind the wheel at all times.

I ride a motorcycle. At 15mph, buses and trucks bunch together and I cannot safely change lanes without being run over-I’m stuck in blind spots. DOT retimed the lights so “e-bikes would respect the red lights” (they don’t) But everyone else doesn’t matter. Only e-bikes do.
Want to see what traveling on 3rd Avenue is like now? The speed limits 25 but you'll never be traveling that fast again. This is called "mega extreme driving conditions" for your vehicle. This is increasing break dust, and stressing the engine cooling systems and transmission.

this is dumb. why make people wait for buses in the middle of the street? what’s wrong with a regular bus lane? unless the goal isn’t a bus lane. it’s to remove 4 lanes on a major thoroughfare, dump traffic onto side streets & introduce congestion tolls as the solution.
This fall, we’re installing center-running bus lanes on Flatbush Ave from Livingston St to Grand Army Plaza (where most households don’t own a car) to provide faster, more reliable bus service for 132,000 daily riders. Details: https://t.co/KvWyS8h0iE

MTA: “don’t want to pay congestion toll? take the train” Also MTA: “we’re on strike.” if there are no trains, are you still going to toll us?
LIRR service may shut down as early as September 18 if railroad unions go on strike. Avoid nonessential travel and work from home, if possible. If you cannot telecommute, the MTA will provide limited shuttle bus service between certain LIRR stations to transfer points in Queens.

NYCDOT “found that universal daylighting…does not have the widespread safety benefits anticipated and may have negative effects on safety.” It will also cost $3bn. why are lobbyists pushing it hard? takes away 300k parking spots, so you get rid of your car & Uber instead.
Intro 1138 now has majority support! The bill is co-sponsored by 25 council members and the Public Advocate. Today, we were joined by fierce advocates for street safety, including: Council Member Lincoln Restler @CMRestler

hey @amazon please tell your drivers in these mini cargo vans to stop going the wrong way down a one way street! another reason why we should treat these vans as commercial vehicles. How is this a bicycle?!

watch as TransAlt simultaneously lobbies against e-bike speed limits while instructing DOT to lower major avenues to 15MPH, causing gridlock traffic. you can’t have it both ways, guys. Also, unless you put plates & speed cameras on bike lanes, it’ll never get enforced.
Effective October 24, there will be a 15 MPH speed limit on all e-bikes, e-scooters, and pedal-assist commercial bikes in the five boroughs. You’ll still be able to get around with a New York hustle, but we’ll be making roads and bike lanes safer for pedestrians and everyone
