Anyone flippantly posting images of 9/11 for clout is a fucking ghoul. Everyone I know lost someone that day. I still have nightmares about what I saw. Nearly 50,000 first responders and others now suffer from 9/11-linked cancers. Our pain isn’t your early voting cannon fodder.

I can’t imagine waking up in the morning and deciding that to my main priority was making sure that tenants get a rent hike.
“Ms. Srugo, a close friend of Mr. Adams, said she plans on declining the request because she wants to prioritize her television career; she added that the offer had not come directly from the mayor.” Carry on. https://t.co/oVfdcjj2Es

Exciting progress for our East Side! After years of advocacy, the East 34th Street lot is being transformed into new public open space on the East River. Grateful to @KeithPowersNYC, @NYCParks, @NYCEDC, and @cbsix for making this happen. Great things ahead for our waterfront.
After 7 years of CB6 advocacy, this East 34th St parking lot is finally being transformed into new public #OpenSpace on the East River. Glad to see this project coming to life with the help of @KeithPowersNYC, @NYCEDC & @NYCParks. Can't wait until the spring when it's done!

For over 30 years, this lot has been a park for cars. But soon, with the support of CB 6, @NYCParks and @NYCEDC it will become a park for people. Proud to deliver this transformation here on East 34th Street and create a new open space on the waterfront for all to enjoy.

It should be possible to critique a candidate’s ideas without demonizing the candidate himself. To insinuate that a mayoral candidate would celebrate a second 9/11 is beyond disgusting and disgraceful. We all have a responsibility to lower the temperature and to restore a
Cuomo, talking to conservative radio host Sid Rosenberg this morning: "God forbid, another 9/11—can you imagine Mamdani in the seat?" Cuomo asks. "He'd be cheering," Rosenberg says. Cuomo paused and chuckled before saying: "That's another problem."

This is reprehensible. It's blatant Islamophobia that is an afront to NYC's entire Muslim community. This hatred has no place in our city, our politics, or our party.

NYC already loves this guy — and for good reason. Skat x Brunson collab is perfect.

Commissioner Tisch has shown the ability to tackle crime, keep the city safe, and restore confidence. This is a good, smart move.
SCOOP: Zohran Mamdani intends to ask Jessica Tisch to stay on as the police commissioner if he is elected NYC mayor in November, according to two senior campaign aides + two others briefed. https://t.co/0L6YvAF3W2

Yesterday, we welcomed the opening of the new @jpmorgan headquarters. The building will be home to 10,000 employees in the heart of Midtown. In 2019, the City Council passed a rezoning to allow this building to happen — a big win for Manhattan!

For those who didn't know Michael McKee, there was no one more dedicated to the rights of tenants or more committed to protecting vulnerable New Yorkers than him. He leaves behind a tremendous legacy - one that we should all strive to uphold. May his memory be a blessing.
Today a giant died: @tenantspacny Treasurer Michael McKee was integral to more than 50 yrs of fights that kept millions who will never know his name in their homes. Here is the indominable figure getting arrested during the 2015 rent fights & taking a bow: https://t.co/BgRLO6ZjwV

We’re big fans of @KeithPowersNYC — a stalwart voice for new homes, for public transit infrastructure, for what New Yorkers need (even when it’s politically challenging to fight for). Exciting to see him working to stay in the arena 👏

Earlier this year, the City Council, led by @KeithPowersNYC and @ebottcher, passed a legislative package that provides a strong foundation to get scaffolding down and improve safety and design. But Mayor Adams has barely put it to use.
