ICTP congratulates string theorist Anamaria Font on being named the 2023 L'Oreal-UNESCO Laureate in Physics for Latin America and the Caribbean. In 1998, Font was awarded the ICTP Prize, together with Fernando Quevedo, for contributions to string theory.
