I agree that Ms Phillipson has already proven to be an educational Vandal - doing enormous damage to the life chances of tens of thousands of children.

Free schools are the highest performing type of school. But Bridget Phillipson can't stand tall poppies, and her whole career is about chopping them down. So teachers and parents who have worked for years on new school proposals find their dreams smashed up. She's just a vandal.

Welcome to modern Labour - a party with almost no principles and thus completely happy to say anything to anyone . Makes it hard to know what they really believe!!

🚨The Duplicity of Wes Streeting🚨 Back in September, he told an ‘LGBT+ event’ that banning puberty blockers made him “very uncomfortable”. Today, speaking to LBC, he told the public that trialling puberty blockers makes him “deeply uncomfortable”. See it for yourself 👇

I can't get over a judgement containing 2 fabricated quotes & 2 quotes of the Supreme Court which have been selectively edited to make them say the opposite of what they actually say, & NO ONE CARES! The BBC are calling it a "row" ffs! This isn't a row, this judicial misconduct!

The Rape Gang Inquiry is a stitch-up. Anne Longfield is not independent. She is a Labour peer, a career insider whose path runs from Blair’s Downing Street to Starmer’s inquiry. While Pakistani rape gangs operated across Labour-run towns, she was inside government shaping

@kimleadbeater @thetimes The constitutional crisis is a de facto government bill of enormous magnitude, that wasn't in the manifesto, being forced through the PMB process & trying to avoid due scrutiny. https://t.co/ESLRN6k4kR

Here's a chart for anyone still willing to believe that #Brexit has knocked 8% off the UK economy... The lines show what has actually happened to GDP in the UK, France and Germany since the vote to leave. The green unicorn shows where the UK would be if GDP were 8% higher 🤔

@kimleadbeater This bill is rushed, it is poorly thought out and totally macabre - it is so utterly sad that you would do this rather than fund good care. The reason we don’t have the death penalty in the UK is because 1 mistake is too many - how many mistakes will be made here?

@kimleadbeater Surprise! Surprise! Campaigner for assisted dying supports your bill. I speak as someone in favour of deciding when I leave this world but have been horrified by your deeply flawed bill being rushed through just because @Keir_Starmer "made a promise to Esther Rantzen." Firstly,

@kimleadbeater Your bill doesn’t even ask people why they want to commit suicide. It has no interest in vulnerable people being coerced and the kangaroo court tribunal you made up ok the fly to replace the Judge safeguard can’t even ask to see a will. Your bill is a dark nasty joke.

@kimleadbeater No it absolutely isn’t!!! You lot removed safeguards for various non-terminal disabilities including autism, anorexia, Down’s syndrome and diabetes… For anyone wanting to know why this bill is corrupt & dangerous, I’ve included a table below with some of the voting that

Tony Blair attempted to impose 90 days detention without charge, and, thankfully, we defeated him.    Today, Starmer wants to impose digital ID and effectively abolish jury trials for all offenders, and I appeal to all those who believe in the rule of law to help us stop it.

This summarises Keir’s fatal flaw, namely his words mean absolutely nothing to him. His yes is not yes and his no is not no! He is simply a gun for hire.

Keir Starmer has entered a parallel universe. He just said expanding welfare is his personal "moral mission". A few months ago he was saying cutting welfare was his personal mission. He was literally forced into this U-turn by his own MPs. Does he think everyone's forgotten.

It is a mystery that some of those that consider themselves so progressive can actually be so inhuman in their proposed treatment of other people. Pure evil.

There's a line every Chancellor knows they cannot cross: you do not invent a crisis to plunder the public purse. Rachel Reeves didn't cross the line – she erased it. The facts are clear. On 31 October, the OBR told her she had £4.2 billion of headroom. No black hole. No fiscal

When he keeps telling you it’s because of wholesale prices, he is lying. We have the highest electricity prices IN THE WORLD because of @UKLabour policy, NOT wholesale prices.

It's always handy to bury bad news on Budget day... Yesterday the energy system operator officially warned Ed Miliband that if we get a particularly cold winter in the 2030s, we will be at serious risk of running out of gas. Why? Because gas production in the North Sea is

This goes to the heart of the failure of this Government to actually support genuine economic growth. Words are very cheap whereas so many of Ms Reeves’ and Mr Miliband’s actions have already had or will have a negative impact on UK economic growth. They are economic pygmies!

Time and again Keir Starmer told us if we made him PM he’d kickstart growth and make UK fastest growing economy in G7 during the second half of the decade. He (and Reeves) have done the opposite. The last Tory Budget was March 2024 when the OBR forecast the economy would be 9%

David Lammy is proposing that jury trials be scrapped for all cases not involving rapists or killers. This is a disgrace. It is an even bigger disgrace that he has not discussed this with Parliament. https://t.co/YchVTj8DQP
