I do not stand with J K Rowling. My trans friends are all just as fabulous as my other friends. And it's not trans people who present a threat in women-only spaces, or safe spaces: it's sexual predators, who are a different group entirely. If you disagree, unfollow or block me.

Seems that they are no longer eating the dogs and cats. FFS.
Mmmkay… now immigrants are eating themselves. No one expected much genius level thinking from the 47 regime but HOLY F¥CK, this is bad. #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE .

In 1994 I was earning about £25k a year as an editor. Online calculators tell me that is equivalent to about double that today, and yet here's an ad for a manager-level job for just £36k. No wonder publishing has a reputation for paying poorly.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the award-winning @orionbooks Marketing team! . Apply now:

I've also been groped, raped, harassed. But never by a trans person. My trans friends have all always treated me with love and kindness.
In my almost 60 years I've been. Raped by a man I met in a public place.Groped by a male traffic warden .Sexually harassed by my male boss.Cat called in the street by male work men.Grabbed by drunk men in the pub. I've never been harmed by a trans woman in a "Women's space".

This is so true. My trans friends cope with so much abuse just for going about their everyday lives, not hurting anyone; they deserve compassion and respect, just like everyone else, but instead they are abused and demeaned. It's a disgrace.
Regular reminder that most trans people are just trying to navigate their way through their lives with as little impact on you as possible.

Oh my goodness. This is one of the most beautiful things I've read this year. I'm estranged from my parents (father died last year after telling everyone not to let me know he was dying. ) and still feel this so keenly.
Janel Moloney talks about living in the past:. “My mom died in December. She was my end of every day. Me at the stove, the phone propped up on the shelf with her on FaceTime. We would talk about raising teenagers. "Don't worry," she would reassure me. "This is all temporary.

Seriously: do schools just not teach stuff any more? Because these comments are gobsmackingly ridiculous for anyone with even a basic education and/or understanding of how bodies work.
It's that time of month! Our first 4 nominees for Potato of the Year have posted their opinions, so pick your favorite to move on to the year end finals. Poll is in the comments🥂🔥

My youngest has severe dyslexia. It caused him so much trouble through school, made worse by teachers telling him he wasn't trying hard enough and was stupid. He's now thriving, working 70 hour weeks doing what he loves. Hard physical work. Says it's still easier than school.
This article is completely unacceptable, @MailOnline. Dyslexia and ADHD are genuine conditions that pose significant challenges in life. They deserve understanding and compassion, not ridicule. 😡
