There's a fire up near Huntsville. It's so hot many of us can't think straight. Breaking records left and right. This isn't normal. This is why we need climate action now.
It's not an accident that I am posting more about climate-change related angles to various weather stories. I used to be somewhat skeptical that things would change as fast as projected. The science was never in doubt...but the modeling, outcomes, etc. I had reservations.

Today, #SCOTUS stripped the Environmental Protection Agency of a strong tool to tackle climate changing by limiting emissions from power plants. The climate crisis is hurting Houstonians now. This decision harms us all.

Last week, the TCEQ chair said he wasn't sure what to do with the term environmental racism. Last night, an expert warned TCEQ a pending decision is an example of environmental racism. And now I'm reading about advocates' ask for EPA to look at TCEQ for civil rights violations.
