1.7 million TX children that rely on SNAP lost their access on 11/1. TODAY after 2 federal judges ruled that freezing payments is unlawful, Trump only partially restored SNAP benefits. Families in our state will still go hungry & Governor Abbott has the power to act. #txlege

A federal court has ordered the Trump administration to pay SNAP benefits using an existing emergency fund for the agency. As long as Trump doesn’t appeal, SNAP benefits could return next week.
