The special session began today & Governor Abbott is once again putting Trump’s agenda ahead of TX. Instead of focusing on flood recovery, Abbott is using this session to rig congressional maps. Texans deserve leaders who put our communities first, not political games. #txlege

While Texans are still grieving & recovering from devastating floods, the Governor has called special session to push through a Donald Trump-backed redistricting scheme. The #txlege should be focused on relief & prevention, not political gains. We must put people before politics.
