This! “Blend” is a verb not a noun!!!! Stop the madness. Teach the complexity by increasing the number of sounds in a single syllable and move on!.
Should we teach “blends”? . ❤️ this from @HollyLanePhD in the UFLI FB group. Tbh I tend to avoid FB groups these days as the abundance of inaccurate/misleading replies raises my blood pressure…but when Holly jumps in to answer a question it’s worth reading!

Happy 🩷 today to hear this K student spelling “pool”. At🪞 to watch his mouth, matched to kid lips, went back to 📝 & wrote “pool” correctly in his sentence. He explained all of this to a visitor. #ComalRA @ninarudewick @AmyRMalone @daniellegrinnan @JSchimank
