Working on optimizing the terrain texturing using 2d texture arrays. This approach should work better when you have several terrain materials in the same mesh chunk. You also dont run into opengl sampler limits which are platform dependent

Huge improvement in @Blender 4.5 😳.They finally switched the 2-decades old OpenGL rendering backend with a much much faster Vulkan. The performance improvement is insane 🤯. (btw at least 50% Blender crashes were caused by OpenGL - GPU communication issues). Great job @Blender

Hello everyone :) I wrote a text editor from scratch using OpenGL and GLFW. rn has a numberline bar, a file explorer, a 3D renderer with a simple rain simulator as bg, a 2D light that can be dragged about, and some C++ syntax highlighting Oh, & a realtime rain sound synthesizer😁

Якщо б серед програмістів графіки були «теорії заговору» та конспірологія, то до 2016 року усі ігри працювали ідеально і видавали нереальну якість картинки на OpenGL, поки не вигадали новітнє API Vulkan, DX12, Metal, і дали розробникам реалізувати вручну частину GPU драйвера.
