So I’m going to interseed into 30” corn this year. Might make it a 12 row unit. Reduce a second pass herbicide, generate nitrogen for the corn and additional feed for the cattle. Remember lacing the hoe wheels with twin 7.5” planter units. 🌱

Unintentionally the new 40’ relay schematic showed me how easy it would be to downsize our 60’ corn planter and go to 40’ Keep tram rows in corn and Y drop at 80’ instead of 60’ Plant twin rows 3” apart 6” inside 40” corn tram rows and make trams for wheat (combine, interseed)

@CaryKelly11 It's not necessarily an either or. You can interseed cover crops into the corn, and the cattle can graze those covers as well as the crop residues.
