Launched on 19 January 2006, NASA's New Horizons Spaceprobe is about to reach a milestone that only 4 other spacecraft in history have surpassed. 1️⃣ On 17 April 17 at 8:42 p.m. EDT (0042 GMT April 18), New Horizons will reach 50 AU from the Sun, that is 7.5 billion kilometres.
