Despite hazy skies this evening, the #aurora made a quick appearance in South Indian Lake, MB @AuroraNotify

Perhaps the clearest example of "flickering aurora" that I have captured occured last night over Fairbanks. Take a look at the auroral arc in this clip. You can see the arc "jittering..." these are really 15-20 hz pulsations and are not a trick of the eye!

Beautiful Aurora over Alberta, Canada🇨🇦 at 4am this morning! A tricky event to catch from Alberta; the solar storm arrived earlier than expected, resulting in very stable Aurora conditions while we had clear sky until 9pm. Fortunately, the skies cleared up briefly this morning!
