Is #retrievalpractice really as good as everyone says? Our blogger looks at an ENORMOUS meta-analysis, and concludes: YUP. This research also includes a few vital caveats: e.g.: "brain dumps" might not be the best way to go -- although they are RP. https://t.co/GQR0jOXf1I

I can confidently say that my #edpsych students who will become #teachers have #retrievalpractice in their vocabulary. And it's in #EdPsychModules 5th ed (coming soon) in several places for those who want to train teachers with a reader-friendly research-based textbook.
I’ve been to enough schools in the US to confidently say that 98 percent of teachers don’t have retrieval practice in their vocabulary. But they all do it in one way or another. What do they call it?
