. This is an amazing privilege and I look forward to doing all that I can to continue to contribute meaningfully to the teaching profession and the institution. I am very, very grateful.
Literacy is everyone’s responsibility. I routinely extract words from scholarship & test for them to help nourish & nurture the lexicon of students, giving examples of how they were used. Teaching students how to write better essays is pivotal - it won’t happen by osmosis.
