Just know that there's grown assed people that think there is ONE person who hits a button and gas prices instantly go up, you know, like a Bond villain. #taxes #supplyanddemand #oilcompanies #refinerycapacity #supplychain #war #summergasoline

@lmevans411 @ikeEnugu @AdamLaxalt @JoeBiden @CortezMasto We’re the #1 global producer. How about the force companies to reopen refineries. These 6 account for 801k bpd https://t.co/qxd6Sqi7vb There are another 5 that are idle as well that services about 408k bpd. Thats 1.2m bpd that could be refined they’re not using.

@kennybk One of my favorite reports. EIA releases an Annual Refinery Capacity Report every June, with data as of the 1st of January. https://t.co/yhlA5lWYfE #OOTT

@JavierGoya7 @mountainman_ak @jackretcher1972 refineries were shuttered because they used dirty, nasty coal. EPA,OSHA, many, many factors. Wood river, IL had quite a few refineries and then during 80s-90s they reduced output or closed. Lot of capacity was moved to TX. https://t.co/JLp9b8UIjg https://t.co/qEC4hV3WVK
