I'd always thought cork (natural or technical) was compulsory for DOCG Barolo. Wrong! Brezza now bottle all their cuvées under Vinolok. Makes you wonder though, for a tannic red wine designed to age gently for 30–40 years… #mwstudyfacts

At @FlintVineyard we’re moving away from screwcap towards corks for our full production for vintage 2022. We did some limited run wines under cork last year, and have moved everything to cork this year. #Mwstudyfacts if you need an example in one direction or the other.
