The Indiana Jones of viticulture and winemaking; according to Alder Yarrow, allegedly. Makes wine for #JardinOculto in Bolivia https://t.co/drBAHQEegK

María José and I are blown away by this piece. It captures the excitement of the Jardín Oculto project, and how fun and rewarding it is working with these vines and making the wines. Cannot thank @JancisRobinson enough, and for the feedback on our wines.
Thrilled to be able to spread the story of @vinosity's adventures with ladders in Bolivia with a wider readership https://t.co/HyPlUk6M00 Good wines!

A few gratuitous shots of Finca San Roque. In the five years I've been working with this vineyard, it's the best it has ever looked. (mostly down to us taking full control from last year)

When you randomly bump into your nephew from Australia, that you haven't seen in eight years, at Santa Cruz airport in Bolivia. I had just arrived from the UK, and he was catching a domestic flight to Riberalta.

Reykjavik really turning it on for my last day. Hoping, if it stays clear, to see the Aurora Borealis tonight.

With bud break imminent, we are trialling different mulches at San Roque: Chipped wood from the tree prunings, Hay from the inter-row sward, And wool from sheep. Looking forward to seeing what, if any, difference they make.

On Friday, I closed that door for the last time. This was the Gowda family residence for 50 years. This house is now entering a new chapter, with a new family who I hope appreciates its space and views as much as we do.

Not sure how your afternoon is going, but I am inflating quite a number of wine bags, for my trip back to Europe. I think I may be developing RSI.

My strategy being, I replace the weight of the wine in the checked bag, with clothes to bring back to Bolivia. More likely, I will just buy more wine.

Having tried to book flights on the GOL website, I will never again complain about BA.

Random question for the day... How much do you have to pay if you go over your duty free allowance, when entering Iceland? And, can you claim it back on exiting?

I have no idea why I have woken up to this song running through my head... However, as it is, I am now going to have to inflict it on you all. https://t.co/ztA1dOcNzp (I'm off to do anagrams to rid myself of the earworm)

So looking forward to visiting my friends in the South of France, in September. (Queribus, for traction)

In more positive news... Today marks the 11th anniversary of me adding "lunch" as one of my key skills on LinkedIn. It also reminds me of my continuing disdain for that hellspace.

I'm going to re-up this, as we are heading towards interesting times in Bolivia.
So, shit's going to hit the fan, big time, here in Bolivia. The financial issues are tipping over crisis point; to a stage where it will be almost impossible to come back from, given current "economic policies"; without significant financial input from outside.
